I know this is extremely late... but Lexi broke her arm. It was on Sept. 11, at the Elder's quorum BBQ. She was playing on the playground on one of those sliding monkey bars. She was ready to get off when another child pushed her across again, she lost her grip and fell. We went to the urgent care and sure enough she broke her arm at the elbow.
Her she is the day after she broke her arm.
This was her first cast. They ended up having to take it off to re-x-ray it. Then she had an orange cast put on. But the x-ray showed that the bone fragment had shifted so she ended up needing surgery. During the surgery they put three pins in her arm to hold the bone fragment in place so that it would be able to heal properly. The pins actually stick out of her arm so that they will be able to remove them without an additional surgery. She was a real trooper though!
Her she is after she got her final cast post-surgery. Ethan was so jealous of her cast that the nurse gave him a little fake cast so he didn't feel so left out. It was so cute!!! In a side note she will get her cast off and pins out on Oct. 27, just in time for Halloween. (She wants to be a fairy ballerina...)
Here is Lexi's new haircut. It has finally grown out from her disastrous self-haircut. (For pictures just look at my previous posts.) Now she has a very stylish and extremely cute bob!
